BHIM App Update: How to Schedule Payments Easily Using UPI Mandate Feature

Kalam Times 1 month ago

In today's fast-paced digital world, managing regular payments has become easier than ever. With the introduction of the UPI Mandate feature in the BHIM App, users can now schedule payments in advance—eliminating the need to remember due dates for rent, bills, or transfers.

This feature, introduced as part of UPI 2.0 by the National Payments Corporation of India, is designed to make recurring payments seamless and hassle-free.

What Is the UPI Mandate Feature?

The UPI Mandate feature allows users to schedule payments for a future date or set up recurring transfers. Instead of manually sending money every month, users can authorize payments in advance.

For example, if you pay rent on the 15th of every month, you can set up a mandate and let the app handle it automatically.

Currently, the feature supports peer-to-peer (P2P) payments, making it ideal for personal transactions.
