A five-storey building which was under-construction reportedly collapsed near Peerumedu in Idukki, Kerala. The incident occurred early hours of today at around 3.30 AM.
As per ANI reports , no casualties were reported. A family living near the under-construction building narrowly escaped the incident before the structure could collapse completely.
As per initial investigation it is being said that the reason behind the collapse could be due to construction defects. Weather can't be blame as there was no heavy rain in the region before the collapse.

In another collapse incident at Delhi, four people near the Saket Metro station and had coaching institute, cafes, and offices.
As per reports, when the incident took place the building's upper floor was under construction. Twelve people were rescued from the building out of which four died.
A case of culpable homicide has been registered against the owner of the building and raids are being conducted to arrest the owner of the building.
