Honor Magic V5 is expected to launch in China on July 2 and the company is teasing about the design as well as specs of the device. Honor has revealed periscope telephoto camera on the upcoming foldable device.
It is expected that the Magic V5 will offer a triple rear camera setup.
The Android device is likely to offer a 6100mAh battery. According to a new Weibo teaser, the Magic V5 will offer 64-megapixel periscope telephoto camera with optical image stabilisation (OIS). Honor has mentioned that the upcoming model will offer highest-resolution periscope telephoto camera among foldable smartphones in the market.
On the other hand, the Magic V5 is likely to offer 50-megapixel primary camera along with 50-megapixel ultra-wide-angle sensor. The device is claimed to offer AI-based foreign object detection in the inner screen.
The foldable smartphone is expected to take place in China on July 2. The battery will be 6100mAH capacity. The four options are Dawn Gold, Silk Road Dunhuang, Velvet Black, and Warm White. The device will be 8.8mm in thickness
Earlier leaks have mentioned that Honor Magic V5 will offer Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset. The device will offer IPX8 -rated build for dust and water resistance. The cover screen is 6.45-inch LTPO OLED screen and 8-inch 2K inner display. The fast charging support is 66W while the weight is 217g.
The configurations in the device are 12GB + 256GB, 16GB+512GB, and 16GB + 1TB. In the folded state, the device is 8.8mm and this will make it thinnest foldable smartphone.
