The Lava Yuva Star 2 smartphone has been launched in India and the device costs Rs 6499. The device is the successor to the Lava Yuva Star that launched last year.

Design of the Lava Yuva Star 2 is quite attractive and this is contrary to the price of the device. The Yuva Star 2 offers 4GB of RAM along with 64GB of internal storage. Users also get the benefit of virtual RAM up to 8GB. The device packs an octa-core UNISOC processor along with Android 14 Go. This means that the OS is quite clean and sans any bloatware.
The device gets option for Radiant Black and Sparkling Ivory colours.
The Lava Yuva Star 2 offers 6.75-inch (720 x 1600 pixels) HD+ LCD screen along with refresh rate of 60Hz. An octacore UNISOC processor is paired with 4GB RAM and 64GB internal storage. Users can use microSD card till 512GB in the device. There is dual SIM support on the phone.
Camera specs include 13MP rear camera along with secondary AI camera and LED flash. The front camera is a 5MP camera. For security purposes, the Yuva Star 2 offers side-mounted fingerprint scanner along with 3.5mm audio jack, FM Radio and Bottom-ported speaker. Connectivity features Dual4G VOLTE, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 4.2, GPS and USB Type-C. A 5000mAh battery with 10W wired charging support is offered on the smartphone.
The smartphone gets 1-year warranty along with free service at home.
