: The opening and closing timings of the Nandankanan Zoological Park in Bhubaneswar has been revised for the tourists. As per the revised timing, the Nandankanan zoo and the state botanical garden will remian open for nearly 10 hours during the summer months as they have longer days.
According to the official notification, the Nandankanan zoo will open for visitors from 7.30am in the morning and will be closed at 6.30 pm in the evening. This schedule will be followed till September 30, according to the office of the deputy director of Nandankana.
Earlier, due to the short days during winter, both Nandankanan and the state botanical garden will be opened for visitors from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm.
The time limit for tickets booking has been set until 5:00 pm. As before, Nandankanan and the state botanical garden will be closed for tourists every Monday.
