Union Railway Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw announced that a new train service will be introduced for North Odisha, further strengthening railway connectivity across the State.
The announcement was made in response to a request for improved rail connectivity to North Odisha. The Minister assured that, just as railway services have been expanded across western, southern and coastal Odisha, North Odisha will also receive a dedicated train service to address the region's connectivity needs.
Vaishnaw reaffirmed the Government's commitment to continuously expanding the railway network across Odisha, ensuring that every region benefits from improved connectivity and enhanced passenger services.
The announcement reflects the Government's commitment under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi Ji to balanced regional development by strengthening rail connectivity across all parts of Odisha and improving travel convenience for passengers.
