Bakery items destroyed as shop runner tests positive
SRINAGAR, May 21: The government officials today destroyed bakery items of a bakery shop in Watergam area of Sopore after the shop runner was tested positive for Covid-19
An official said a team civil officials, police and revenue officials visited Watergam area and destroyed all the bakery items in the shop after the shop runner was tested positive for the disease.
He said that the bakery items were destroyed as per the protocol in order to prevent the spread of Covid-19 in the area.
The officials said they had already advised bakery owners, butchers and other traders to get tested for Covid-19 before they could open their business establishments on the occasion of Eid-ul-Fitre.
