BENGALURU: D K Shivakumar was sworn in as the Chief Minister of Karnataka. Governor Thaawarchand Gehlot administered the oath. Shivakumar was sworn in by raising the Constitution.

Lok Sabha opposition leader Rahul Gandhi, Congress President Mallikarjun Kharge, former Karnataka chief minister Siddaramaiah and other prominent figures, including chief ministers of various states and Congress leaders, attended the ceremony.
