Popular Malayalam actress Grace Antony shared an Instagram post as a tacit response to the criticism she faced following her husband's viral statement during an interview.
In the interview, Grace's husband, Aby Tom, revealed how he groomed her from a young age. Both of them have an age difference of eight years. Though the response was disagreeable on so many levels, the anchor and the duo laughed it off, considering it a glib comment and nothing more.
However, the response triggered strong criticism on social media, as many asked Aby and Grace not to glorify it and understand the dangers lurking behind such open admissions. Many called out Aby for making such an asinine statement and behaving as if it were totally fine.
In response to the flooding comments and criticism, Grace uploaded a video on Instagram of the duo travelling in the car with the caption "Perfect Grooming Ettayi".
Though the implicit response to critics won a few applause, the majority of netizens unleashed their anger over the actress choosing to undermine the statement and trying desperately to make it look normal.
