Justice Abdul Rahim appointed as acting Chief Justice
KOCHI: Senior judge Justice CK Abdul Rahim has been appointed as the acting Chief Justice of Kerala High Court. The appointment was made following former Chief Justice Hrishikesh Roy's promotion as Supreme Court judge.
Abdul Rahim is the son of former Deputy Sales Tax Commissioner late PK Ali Pilla and late Kunji Beepathu. He started his practicing in the High Court in 1983 and became High Court judge by 2009.
He is known for issuing several prominent orders such as the abolition of public meetings and programs on the roadsides and order to enable the liver transplant of an infant.
