Mohanlal's first schedule is complete

The first phase of the shooting of 'Mohanlal' that tells the story of hard core Lalettan fan Meenukutty has been completed in Ernakulam's Kolancherry.

In the film to be directed by Sajid Yahya, the main characters will be played by Manju Warrier and Indrajith.

Meenukutty is a girl who is born on the first day of the release of 1980 Fasil film Manjil Virinja Pookkal. Manju will don Meenukutty's role and Indrajith will play Sethu Madhavan, her husband

The film's story beads together the life of Meenukutty and Mohanlal films from Manjil Virinja Pookkal to Pulimurugan.
The shoot took place in Kolanhcerry, Ottapalam and Guruvayur. The second schedule will start this week.

The film has lined up a host of artistes like Aju Varghese, Siddique, KPAC Lalitha and Saubin. The film will be released with the tagline "Chankalla, Chankidippanu, Love Mohanlal" (It is not heart but heartbeats, love Mohanlal).

The film is being produced by Anil Kumar under the banner Mind Set Movies. Suneesh Varanad is writing the script and dialogue of the film. Cinematography is by Shajikumar and songs are composed by Manu Manjith.
