Joju George is all set to start work on his sophomore directorial, 'Deluxe', on April 17th. This is the second part of the superhit movie Pani.
Shooting will begin in Chalakudy on April 17. Joju George will essay the role of Deluxe Benny. Several new faces will also be seen in the lead roles.
Veteran Rajeev Ravi will be handling the camera for the film. Joju George has acted in the film 'Thuramukham' directed by Rajeev Ravi. Venu Kunnappilly is producing 'Deluxe' under the banner of Kavya Film Company. Thrissur and Wayanad are the main locations.
The story revolves around a group of layabouts and goons in the city of Thrissur. The film is set on a bigger canvas than the first part of the film. The second part will be more intense than the first part. Joju has decided to make the film a franchise.
Joju George had played the role of former history sheeter Giri in the first part of the film. Sagar Surya and Junais played the villain characters. Along with being a great success in the theatre, the movie also performed well in OTT release.
Like the first part, Joju will be behind the script in the second part.
