Police nabs Kodungallur native for suspected links with Lashkar terrorists

KOCHI: The police have taken the suspected carrier of six Lashkar-e-taiba terrorists, Kodungallur native Abdul Khader Rahim, into custody. Abdul was taken into custody when he reported at Ernakulam court. The police were in search of him due to terrorist threats. He came to Kochi from Bahrain two days before. The police had earlier taken a woman who was with Abdul Khader into custody.

The Tamil Nadu had received a photo of Abdul Khader before. Intelligence agencies have found that he was doing business in Bahrain for years and disappeared when he incurred a loss. As per reports, he was seen in Ernakulam last month. Abdul Rahim then made another visit to Bahrain but told his family that he is going to Dubai. Natives say that he is a person who didn't socialize much with others.

Three days back he told his father over the phone that he'll be returning. Abdul Khader has a wife and two children.
