Mass awareness campaign in Jaipur
The Jaipur Municipal Corporation, Municipal Council and the Municipality have been tasked to widely publicise the COVID-19 prohibitory protocols in the Pink City to flatten the rise of the infection graph here.
As per reports, a mass awareness campaign will be run by these authorities via vehicle PA systems, to reiterate the norms of lockdown protocols. A mic and sound system will be fitted in auto-rickshaws that will patrol around the city and disseminate the guidelines. Cycle rickshaws and e-rickshaws will also be used,
The campaign will be driven by 50 vehicles of the Municipal Corporation, 25 of the Municipal Council and another 40 of the Municipality. Reportedly, the number of vehicles will be increased according to the need. Besides this, other means of communication, such as banners and posters will also be used to emphasise the protocols.
Pamphlets and masks will be handed out to people and jingles will be used to increase recall and compliance of the basic COVID appropriate behaviours like wearing a mask, washing hands and maintaining a safe distance in public places among others.
