Indian skipper and dangerous batter Harmanpreet Kaur remains unsold in the BBL draft. The 35-year-old has already featured for five seasons for the Melbourne Renegades and Sydney Thunder.

In 62 matches of the WBBL, she scored 1,440 runs, coming at a strike rate of 117.16.

Harmanpreet captained the Mumbai Indians to victory in the 2023 Women’s Premier League and reached the final in this past season. She is a key member of the Indian team and will captain the team in the coming T20 World Cup. Still no WBBL franchise came for her despite her impressive record of 3,426 runs in 153 T20I innings.

Like Harmanpreet, Shreyanka Patil too remains unsold. This 22-year-old has given a good account of her abilities with the Royal Challengers Bangalore in the WPL and the Indian national team this year.

She has picked up 19 wickets in 15 WPL matches and 15 wickets in T20 Internationals. Shreyanka has also represented Guyana Amazon Warriors in the 2023 Women’s Caribbean Premier League.

The other prominent unsold Indian players are Asha Sobhana, Radha Yadav, Sneh Rana, Meghana Sabbineni, and Veda Krishnamurthy. Deepti Sharma and Yastika Bhatia were signed up by Melbourne Stars, while Brisbane Heat picked up Jemimah Rodrigues and Shikha Pandey.

Star batter Smriti Mandhana was pre-singed by Adelaide Strikers, where she joined Laura Wolvaardt and Orla Prendergast. The Perth Scorchers signed Indian International Dayalan Hemalatha.
