PKL Season 12: Delhi Dabangs Defeats Bengaluru Bulls; Jaipur Pink Panthers Triumphs Over Patna Pirates

KreedOn 1 week ago

Marking another exciting day in the ongoing Pro Kabaddi League (PKL) season 12, Dabang Delhi have started off their season in style by defeating Bengaluru Bulls with the scoreline of 41-34. Jaipur Pink Panthers , on the other hand, have also begun their PKL 12 with a thumping win over Patna Pirates.

Dominant game-play by Dabang Delhi

Delhi straight-up steamrolled Bengaluru. Ashu Malik was on fire, grabbing 15 raid points. Neeraj Narwal chipped in with seven, and Delhi’s defence, comprising Surjeet Singh, Fazel Atrachali, and Saurabh Nandal, put the Bulls through a blender all night.

Delhi basically ran away with it by halftime, leading 21-11, and they just doubled down after the break. The Bulls tried to claw back. Alireza Mirzaian went all-in with a Super 10, Akash Shinde pulled off a wild Super Tackle, and there was a late all out that made things interesting.

Even with Aashish hustling and Ganesha Hanamantagol coming off the bench swinging, Bengaluru just couldn't close the gap.

Jaipur Pink Panthers barely scraped by Patna Pirates, 39-36. Nitin Kumar Dhankar went off-13 raid points like it was nothing. And then there's Ali Samadi Choubtarash, rolling up for his debut and dropping eight points like he owns the place.

Jaipur came out swinging, defence looking sharp-Reza Mirbagheri, Ronak Singh, and Nitin Rawal just shutting stuff down. They snatched the first ALL OUT and cruised into halftime up 21-16. Not a bad cushion, but kabaddi's never that simple.

Mentioning the second half, Nitin's already chalked up a Super 10 while Ali Samadi's just zipping around, making Patna sweat. But Patna wasn't about to roll over-Maninder Singh was in beast mode, grabbing 15 raid points. Sudhakar Maruthamuthu chipped in with nine, just to keep things spicy.

Near the end, Patna pushed hard. Maninder pulled off a nutty two-point raid, and suddenly it's just a four-point game. But Jaipur held on. It has started to seem that the Panthers are going to be a real problem this season.
