On December 30, 2022, Rishabh Pant was in a severe car crash on the Delhi-Dehradun highway near Roorkee. Despite sustaining injuries to his head, back, and feet, including cuts on his forehead and a ligament tear in his right knee, he was cleared of serious injury and remained stable.

Pant was initially admitted to Saksham Hospital near New Delhi before being transferred to Max Hospital in Dehradun.
