The ICC (International Cricket Council) has officially revealed the names and details of the venues for the Women's Cricket World Cup 2025. India and Sri Lanka are all set to host this grand affair.

The upcoming Women's World Cup seems to be shaping up to be one of the most unforgettable editions of the history of women's cricket, with the opener between India and Sri Lanka scheduled to be held at Guwahati and the final at DY Patil Stadium of Navi Mumbai.

Indian Venues Set the Stage

A total of four venues across India have been named to host the cricketing carnival. The Assam Cricket Association Stadium in Guwahati will be the centre of attraction as the very first match between India Women and Sri Lanka Women will take place there. Besides that, it will also host the semi-final, making it a big venue for the tournament.

The DY Patil Stadium in Navi Mumbai will be the place where India will have their last league match against Bangladesh. It is also set to host the second semi-final and the final, thus being at the core of CWC25.

The ACA-VDCA Stadium in Visakhapatnam will be the place for India's meeting with Australia. The Holkar Stadium in Indore is going to be another venue that is going to play an important role in several high-stakes league games. Both these grounds are giving the tournament the diversity and the steam of the Indian leg.

Sri Lanka's Contribution

The R. Premadasa Stadium, located in Colombo, will be the venue from Sri Lanka in the World Cup. It is a 35,000-capacity stadium and will be the home for 11 different group-stage matches.
