Global Agriculture 3 weeks ago

15 April 2026, Indianapolis: Corteva Inc. has announced the executive leadership team for "New Corteva," the crop protection company that will be created through its planned separation in the fourth quarter of 2026.

The announcement follows the earlier appointment of Luke Kissam as chief executive officer of New Corteva. He will join the current company on June 1.

According to the company, New Corteva will focus on crop protection with an operating model aimed at efficiency and targeted growth investments. The business also plans to expand opportunities in nature-inspired technologies and differentiated markets.

Corteva Chair Greg Page, who will also chair New Corteva after separation, said the future company is positioned strongly within the industry and will build on that base after the split.

Corteva CEO Chuck Magro said innovation, sustainability and operational execution would be central to New Corteva's future strategy.

The leadership team will assume their roles when the separation is completed:
• Jeff Rudolph - Chief Financial Officer
• Brook Cunningham - Chief Commercial Officer
• Ralph Ford - Chief Integrated Operations Officer
• Reza Rasoulpour - Chief Technology Officer
• Jim Alcombright - Chief Digital and Information Officer

The positions of Chief Legal Officer and Chief People Officer are yet to be filled, with searches underway.

Robert King, currently Executive Vice President of Corteva's Crop Protection business unit, will become a strategic advisor to the incoming CEO from July 1. He will support the transition process through the separation.

King will remain on the current Corteva executive leadership team until the separation and continue on the New Corteva leadership team until the end of 2026, after which he plans to pursue other leadership opportunities.

Magro credited King's leadership during a period in which Corteva expanded its position in biologicals, launched more than 1,000 products and delivered financial performance above industry levels.
