Even without the presence of the web, the wedding turned out to be the 'marriage of the decade.' Whilst Abhishek, the beautiful groom and the most eligible bachelor of that time, was no less than a prince on a white horse, Aishwarya gave no chance to anyone to look away from her for even a minute as she looked so beautiful in her traditional kanjeevaram saree.
The couple got married on 20th April 2007. From the time Abhi and Ash got married, the two biggies have continuously been setting new relationship goals for everyone. In the year 2011, they got blessed with a baby girl and they named her, Aaradhya.
The marriage of Abhishek and Aishwarya was a fairy tale affair. The beautiful bride was witnessed putting on very costly attire on her big day. She puts on a kanjeevaram saree of golden-yellowish shade. A set of customary jewels completed her beautiful appearance.
Ace fashion designer Neeta Lulla created the special bridal wear for Aishwarya. The beautiful ensemble boasted of a gold border with some costly gems. It had real gold-thread work on it together with expensive crystals.
The wedding attire was priced at Rs 75 lakhs. Abhi's white attire also boasted of real-gold embroidery. Not only the bride and groom, however, the dresses of other family members of the Bachchan Khandaan were also beautiful enough. Those attires were specially designed by ace designer pair Sandeep Khosla and Abu Jani. The designer pair also shared a number of pictures from the marriage event in 2019, which, at once, became the talk of the town.
The official IG page of Sandeep Khosla and Abu Jani also recited the thought behind the designing, '2007: A wedding beyond a fairy-tale! Abu Jani Sandeep Khosla and the Bachchans go a long way. Jaya Bachchan embraced their work ever since the opening of their first boutique, Mata Hari. She has always been an avid supporter of their creative visions and 'The Boys' as she affectionately calls them, have known Abhishek and Shweta since they were kids. So designing for Abhishek's wedding with Aishwarya was a highly emotional and creatively satisfying experience for the duo.'
