New York | April 24, 2025:As Netflix's sci-fi juggernaut Stranger Things gears up for its final season, star Noah Schnapp—who plays Will Byers—has dropped a poignant hint about the show's conclusion.
Speaking at the Broadway premiere of Stranger Things: The First Shadow, Schnapp revealed that the season five finale will leave viewers 'truly devastated.'

'As sad as it was, I'm so excited to see the world's reaction to watching the finale because there's not going to be a dry eye,' Schnapp told The Hollywood Reporter. 'It's going to be sad.'
Earlier, the actor had penned an emotional Instagram post after wrapping his final scene, calling the end of his journey with the show both 'emotional' and 'grateful.' The post came just as Netflix confirmed that production wrapped in December 2024.
