Founded by brothers Sam Walton and Bud Walton, Walmart has scaled new heights over the past six decades. After the founders' passing, the company's fortune was strategically divided among their seven heirs — Alice Walton, Jim Walton, Rob Walton, Christy Walton (daughter-in-law), Lukas Walton (grandson), and Bud's daughters Ann and Nancy Walton, as detailed by Forbes.
After Sam Walton's death in 1992, his eldest son Rob Walton took over as Walmart's chairman, a role he held until 2015.
