On this occasion, Raju Bhadke mentioned that the dedicated railway personnel of Vadodara Division are continuously monitoring rail infrastructure during the monsoon, prioritizing passenger safety, and are fully prepared with all necessary resources and teams to handle any emergency situation. According to a press release issued by the Public Relations Officer of Vadodara Division, Anubhav Saxena, due to continuous rainfall, rain cuts were found near Bridge No. 650 at 08:20 AM, prompting an immediate caution speed of 20 km/h.

Considering the severity of the situation, a monsoon relief rake consisting of 18 wagons of rubble and 8 wagons of quarry dust reached Anand in just three minutes at 08:23 AM, and the engineering department teams began restoration work at a war footing. Senior Divisional Engineer Sandeep Kumar reported that during the inspection, the wing wall was found damaged, resulting in the temporary suspension of rail traffic on the down line at 10:55 AM, while a caution speed of 10 km/h was implemented on the up line. The engineering department officials, track maintainers, and other staff worked continuously in coordination with other departments under adverse weather and continuous rainfall to secure the affected site, and rail operations on the down line were resumed at 11:00 AM with a caution speed of 10 km/h in just five minutes.

Subsequently, at 12:05 PM, the caution speed on the up line was increased to 20 km/h. To permanently strengthen the site, extensive restoration work was carried out on the down line from 1:40 PM to 4:30 PM and on the up line from 1:20 PM to 2:35 PM with an engineering block. During this block period, some long-distance trains were regulated at various stations in the division.

The dedicated railway personnel of the division completed the block on time, normalizing rail operations. During this time, 3 wagons of rubble and 90 sleepers were unloaded to strengthen the track and embankment.

Thanks to Western Railway's pre-planned monsoon preparations, quick availability of resources, and coordinated efforts of officials and staff, rail traffic was normalized in minimal time even under challenging circumstances.
