Puducherry: The ruling All India N. R. Congress (AINRC) is leading the race, with Chief Minister N. Rangasamy securing a comfortable victory in Thattanchavady.

Counting of votes is underway, with the AINRC winning 9 seats as of 2:30 pm.

The Bharatiya Janata Party has won Mannadipet and Neravy-T.R. Pattinam, while Nellithope has shifted from the BJP to the Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam. P.R.N. Thirumurugan, Minister for Civil Supplies and Consumer Affairs, has retained the Karaikal North constituency for a fourth consecutive term.
