Bigg Boss 18 has been making a lot of waves this year too like every time. The contentious show continues to grab headlines regularly for its fights, budding relationships and controversies as the housemates stay locked inside with no contact with the outside world.

Ever since the show premiered on October 6, the show has been entertaining audiences with its twists and turns However, now the entertainment seems to have a new time. Earlier this month, there were reports that the timings of Bigg Boss 18 Weekend Ka Vaar episode would be changed.

So far Bigg Boss episodes air at 10 pm from Monday to Friday, while weekend episodes known as ‘Weekend ka Vaar’ air at 9 pm. However, the makers have now changed the time slot.

New time slots of Bigg Boss 18

According to Bigg Boss Khabri, the makers have decided in new time slots for the ongoing season of Bigg Boss. Bigg Boss' weekday episode, which earlier aired at 10 pm, will now air at 10:30 pm while the weekend episodes of 9 pm will be aired at 9:30 pm. The episodes will continue to be aired on Colors TV and JioCinema at the new times.

A reliable source exclusively told Filmibeat, “Bigg Boss 18 Weekend Ka Vaar episodes were earlier scheduled to air at 9 pm on Colors channel. However, the decision was taken to postpone the timings to 9:30 pm due to multiple reasons. Mangal Lakshmi, which airs at 9 pm, is one of the top fiction properties of Colors channel. The show is performing very well and the programming team doesn’t want to affect the viewership on weekends.”

Confirming the new timings the source revealed, “Bigg Boss 18 is expected to perform well even at 9:30 pm slot, just like Khatron Ke Khiladi season 14. As BB 18 will air at 9:30 pm, the show can easily extend till 11:15 and sometimes 11:30 pm on weekends, strengthening the weekend programming of the channel.”

Like the name suggests, this season is the 18th edition of the show. It was launched in October 2024. The show kicked off with 18 contestants. Later some contestants including Hema Sharma, Arfeen Khan, Alice Kaushik and others were eliminated from the show.

Meanwhile Digvijay Rathee, Kashish Kapoor, Edin Rose, Yamini Malhotra and Shalini Passi have entered the house as wild card contestants. The show is currently in its 10th week as the entertainment and drama continue.
