BTS also known as Bangtan Boys is officially returning and this time, it's free for fans.
The global K-pop group will hold a free live comeback concert in Seoul on March 21, 2026. The comeback will see all seven BTS members - RM, Jin, SUGA, j-hope, Jimin, V and Jung Kook- perform together on stage for the first time in years after completing South Korea's mandatory military service.
The event, titled "BTS THE COMEBACK LIVE | ARIRANG," is expected to become one of the biggest K-pop moments of the year.
The concert will take place at Gwanghwamun Square, a landmark location in the heart of Seoul, and is being presented as a thank-you event for ARMY, the group's global fanbase.
Massive crowd expected as BTS returns together
According to The Chosun Daily, organisers are preparing for huge demand, with around 34,000 seats planned at the venue. The setup will include main viewing zones near the stage as well as additional side seating to accommodate more fans.
How fans can get tickets
Even though the concert is free, fans will need to reserve tickets through an official booking system.
According to Korea JoongAng Daily, reservations open on February 23, 2026, at 8 PM KST, and organisers have announced strict anti-scalping rules to prevent ticket resales. ARMY members using Weverse Global will have additional access through a lottery draw linked to album purchases.
Global fans can watch on Netflix
For fans unable to attend in Seoul, the concert will also be streamed live worldwide through Netflix, allowing international audiences to watch BTS's long-awaited reunion performance.
Netflix will further release a documentary titled "BTS: THE RETURN" on March 27, offering behind-the-scenes access to the group's comeback preparations and recording sessions.
After years of solo work, military enlistment and global anticipation, BTS's free comeback concert is being seen as the start of a brand-new era for the group.
