Thiruvananthapuram: Prime Minister Narendra Modi is set to visit Kerala again today as part of the assembly election campaign. His key events are scheduled in Thiruvananthapuram and Thiruvalla.
The Prime Minister is expected to arrive at Thiruvananthapuram airport at around 2:30 PM, after which he will take a helicopter to Thiruvalla for a public rally. Following the Thiruvalla events, he will return to Thiruvananthapuram and hold a roadshow from Killipalam Junction to Karamana. Candidates from Kazhakoottam, Vattiyoorkavu, and Nemom constituencies, where the BJP has high expectations, along with other party leaders, will accompany him during the roadshow.
Thiruvananthapuram city has been placed under a tight security cordon. In addition to the police, paramilitary forces have also been deployed, and barricades have been erected along the route to ensure safety.

Meanwhile, Lok Sabha Opposition Leader Rahul Gandhi will also be campaigning in Kerala today. His first engagement is in the Alappuzha constituency, followed by events in Kattappana and Kochi. He is scheduled to address a public meeting in Kavunkal, Muhamma, at 10:50 AM, participate in a rally in Kattappana at 12:30 PM, and subsequently campaign in Fort Kochi for Muhammed Shiyas and in Kunnathunadu for VP Sajeendran
Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan will focus on his home constituency of Dharmadam today, touring all local committee areas. The campaign in Dharmadam will continue tomorrow as well, with a full day of events starting at 10 AM and continuing into the night.
With only four days remaining in the final leg of the assembly election campaign, the state has entered a high-voltage political phase.
