CSIR-IIP Dehradun walk-in-interview: New Project Staff openings announced

Council of Scientific & Industrial Research -Indian Institute of Petroleum (CSIR-IIP), P.O. IIP, Mohkampur, Dehradun, Uttarakhand -248005, has announced a Walk-in-Interview for the temporary positions of Project Staff at IIP.

IIP will conduct interviews for positions of Project Scientist (PS-II), Senior Project Associate (Senior PAT), Project Associate (PAT-II), Project Associate (PAT-I) & Project Assistant-II (PA-II) and for empanelment for future positions/requirements for various time-bound projects in different schemes.

The number of positions may vary depending on the Project requirements at the time of the walk-in interview for upcoming projects. The panel of Project Staff may be prepared for future requirements, if any.

Engagement will be initially for a period of six months/one year or project duration, whichever is less, depending upon the project requirement, which may be extended or curtailed depending on the duration of the project/desired level of performance or conduct of the incumbent, as the case may be.

Tenure of engagement of the Project Staff shall be co-terminus with the project. However, under no circumstances would the tenure be allowed to exceed six years' duration, taking into consideration engagement in all CSIR Labs.

The performance of the Project Staff would be reviewed periodically so that anyone not found up to the mark could be terminated without assigning any reason.

On completion of the tenure in one project, in case one wants to apply for engagement in another project, he/she will have to go through the process of selection by submitting a fresh application under the new project. Engagement of the Project Staff under the new project would be made only after submission of resignation and a "No Demand Certificate" in the previous project.

The project personnel may be allowed to register for a higher degree (i.e., PhD) as per the policy of the institute, if they fulfil all the requirements laid down for such purposes, provided that the project duration is at least 3 years or more, apart from any other conditions laid down by the concerned Institute/Laboratory. The permission to register for a PhD is subject to the condition that the work of the project is not affected, and it will be without any financial obligation to CSIR/Project.

Application: Eligible and interested Indian National candidates are required to appear in-person at CSIR- Indian Institute of Petroleum, Mohkampur, Haridwar Road, Dehradun, Uttarakhand for walk-in-interview on the above mentioned/stipulated date and time along with duly filled-in application form given as part of the Notification, supported by one set of self-attested copies of certificates regarding (i) Educational Qualification (ii) Age (iii) Category (in case of SC/ST/OBC/PWD candidates) (iv) One latest passport size photograph (v) Experience certificate if any; and (vi) detailed biodata etc. Original certificates are required for verification, which would be returned immediately on the same day after verification.

Final semester and result awaited candidates are not eligible for the above-mentioned positions.

For the positions where a PhD is an essential qualification, only PhD-awarded candidates should apply. PhD (submitted) is not eligible.

Selection will be on the basis of an interview; however, a written examination may be conducted for screening, if required. The syllabus of the written examination would be from the concerned subject.
