Air India is offering enhanced flexibility for passengers in view of the continuing instability in the Middle East that is impacting flight operations across several international sectors.

In an official statement, the airline said that passengers holding confirmed bookings made on or before February 28 for travel up to March 10 to and from the Middle East, the United Kingdom and Europe will be eligible for complimentary rescheduling or full refunds in case of cancellations.

"In view of the continuing situation in the Middle East impacting flight operations, Air India is offering customers the option of complimentary rescheduling or full refunds on cancellation," the airline stated, adding that it is closely monitoring the evolving geopolitical developments.

Passengers have been advised to regularly check their flight status through official channels before proceeding to the airport.

Even as the airline navigates operational challenges, Air India has also announced the deployment of additional flights on key long-haul routes to manage heightened passenger demand amid the disruptions in West Asia.

The carrier will operate three additional flights between Delhi and Toronto from March 5 to March 11. Further, three extra services will be introduced between Delhi and Frankfurt, along with one additional flight between Delhi and Paris (Charles de Gaulle) between March 7 and March 10.
