The first day of school was celebrated with enthusiasm as students returned to classrooms across the state.

Many schools organized special welcome events, cultural programs, and orientation sessions, particularly for first-time entrants and primary school students. School campuses were decorated to create a festive atmosphere, while teachers and staff warmly received children and their parents.

The reopening day saw a mix of emotions among students. While many children arrived excited and eager to meet friends and teachers, some younger students, attending school for the first time, appeared anxious and emotional. Parents and teachers helped them adjust to the new environment.

Teachers expressed happiness over the students' return and said various reception activities had been arranged to make the day memorable. With schools reopening statewide, lakhs of students have officially begun the new academic session in Kerala.
