The National Testing Agency (National Testing Agency) has opened a correction window for candidates appearing in the NEET UG Re-Exam 2026, allowing them to update their present address and preferred examination city.

The facility was announced on May 15, 2026, along with updated guidelines for the re-examination scheduled for June 21, 2026.

According to the latest notification, candidates can log in to the official NEET portal CLICK HERE, between May 15 and May 21, 2026, up to 11:50 pm to make the changes. The agency has made it clear that no other fields in the application form will be open for correction during this period.

Officials have also stated that once the correction window closes, candidates who do not update their details will be allotted their previously selected examination city. No further requests for changes will be entertained after the deadline.

The Education Minister has also announced stricter guidelines for the upcoming NEET UG Re-Exam 2026, aimed at ensuring smoother conduct and tighter exam security.

Importantly, NTA has confirmed that no fee will be charged for updating the present address or exam city preferences during the correction window.

The admit card for the re-exam will be released on June 14, 2026. Candidates will be required to download it from the official websites, NTA official website and NEET UG official website, using their registration credentials. The agency has also clarified that previously issued admit cards will no longer be valid for the re-examination.
