Counting for the 2026 Kerala Assembly elections concluded on Monday with Congress candidate Jyotikumar Chamakkala securing victory in Pathanapuram constituency of Kollam district.
Final results confirmed a clear margin as trends stabilised in the closing stages of counting.

The outcome marks a decisive lead for Chamakkala as the counting progressed through the final rounds, where margins firmed up after earlier fluctuations during the day.
The constituency saw a three-cornered contest primarily between Jyotikumar Chamakkala (INC/UDF), K B Ganesh Kumar (Kerala Congress B/LDF), and S Anil Kumar (NDA).
