PM Modi to kick off ₹18,000 crore development drive across Surat and Daman

During the program, he will launch and announce a range of infrastructure and development initiatives aimed at boosting economic growth and public services in the region.

Later, the Prime Minister will travel to Daman to inaugurate a new civilian airport built adjacent to the Indian Coast Guard airstrip. He will also open the Marwad Government Hospital, a major healthcare facility near the airport. Modi is scheduled to address a public gathering at Swami Vivekananda Ground, where he will virtually inaugurate and lay foundation stones for several additional development projects across the Union Territory.
