While POCO has not yet revealed the full specifications of the upcoming devices, it has confirmed that the phones will feature MediaTek's latest processors.

The Poco X8 Pro is expected to run on the MediaTek Dimensity 8500 chipset, while the Poco X8 Pro Max could be powered by the more advanced Dimensity 9500s processor built on a 3nm architecture.

In terms of display, the Poco X8 Pro is tipped to feature a 6.59-inch 1.5K OLED panel with a 120Hz refresh rate and peak brightness of up to 3,500 nits. The Poco X8 Pro Max, on the other hand, may offer a larger 6.83-inch 1.5K AMOLED display with similar brightness and refresh rate capabilities.

Camera specifications are expected to include a 50-megapixel main sensor with optical image stabilisation paired with an 8-megapixel ultra-wide camera. Both devices are also likely to feature a 20-megapixel front camera for selfies and video calls.

Battery capacity could be one of the standout features of the new series. The Poco X8 Pro may pack a battery of around 7,560mAh, while the Poco X8 Pro Max could house an even larger battery ranging between 8,500mAh and 9,000mAh. Both models are expected to support 100W wired fast charging.
