Ranbir Kapoor has made a major investment in Ayodhya's fast-growing luxury real estate market by purchasing a premium land parcel worth Rs 3.31 crore at 'The Sarayu', a high-end plotted development by The House of Abhinandan Lodha.
According to the official announcement, the actor acquired a 2,134-square-foot land parcel in the 75-acre luxury project located along the banks of the Sarayu River. The purchase highlights the increasing demand for branded land developments in Ayodhya as the city continues to witness rapid infrastructure expansion, rising tourism and strong investor interest following the Ram Mandir-led transformation.
The Sarayu project is being positioned as one of Ayodhya's premium lifestyle destinations and will feature more than 35 curated amenities, a grand clubhouse and a five-acre fully vegetarian luxury hotel operated by The Leela Hotels.
Speaking about the investment, Ranbir Kapoor said Ayodhya holds deep emotional and cultural significance for him and described the purchase as a personal milestone for his family's legacy.
"I believe Ayodhya has chosen me, and I have just answered this calling. Ayodhya is deep rooted in our history and is a critical part of our cultural fabric. This land at The Sarayu became my gateway to ensuring this becomes a part of my legacy for my family," the actor said in a statement.
He also praised the seamless digital acquisition process facilitated by the developer.
