Realme is reportedly preparing to launch a new P-series smartphone in India - the Realme P4 Power. While the official launch date is yet to be confirmed, a fresh leak suggests the phone could debut on January 29, following a wave of teasers already live online.
A dedicated microsite for the device has gone live on Flipkart, confirming the phone's arrival but stopping short of revealing specifications or pricing.
10,001mAh battery set to be the biggest highlight
The biggest talking point of the Realme P4 Power is its massive 10,001mAh battery, which, if true, would make it the largest battery ever on a commercial smartphone in India. Realme has teased the phone with the term "mAAAAAhsive," strongly hinting at an unusually large battery capacity.
With such a battery, the Realme P4 Power is expected to comfortably deliver up to 1.5 days of usage on a single charge, making it ideal for power users, travellers, and gamers. The phone is also tipped to support 80W fast charging, reducing downtime despite the huge battery size.
Display and performance: AMOLED panel with Dimensity chipset
According to leaks, the Realme P4 Power will feature a 6.78-inch 4D curved AMOLED display with a 144Hz refresh rate, placing it firmly in premium mid-range territory.
Powering the device could be the MediaTek Dimensity 7400 Ultra chipset, paired with a HyperVision+ AI chip. This combination suggests a focus on smooth performance, gaming optimisation, and AI-driven features across photography, battery management, and display tuning.
Camera setup focuses on stability over versatility
For photography, the Realme P4 Power is tipped to pack a 50MP primary camera with OIS, accompanied by an 8MP ultra-wide sensor. On the front, users may get a 16MP selfie camera.
While the setup appears reliable for everyday use, the absence of additional lenses like telephoto or macro could feel limiting for users seeking greater camera versatility.
Durability, design and colour options
The smartphone is said to come with IP68 and IP69 ratings, offering strong resistance against dust and water - a feature rarely seen in this segment.
The device will reportedly weigh 219 grams, feature a plastic frame, and sport a design similar to the Realme GT series.
Realme has officially confirmed a matte black finish, while leaks and teasers also point to TransSilver, TransOrange, and TransBlue colour options.
Software support and long-term updates
On the software side, the Realme P4 Power is expected to launch with Realme UI 7.0 based on Android 16 out of the box. The company is also tipped to offer three years of Android OS updates and four years of security patches, strengthening its long-term value proposition.
Expected price and market positioning
A leaked image allegedly showing the phone's box pricing mentions ₹37,999, though the final retail price is expected to be lower. That said, if priced above ₹30,000, the Realme P4 Power would represent a noticeable step up compared to previous P-series smartphones.
Positioned close to Realme's number series, the P-series targets buyers looking for performance-driven smartphones at aggressive prices. With its extreme battery focus, the Realme P4 Power appears tailored for users who prioritise endurance above all else - effectively offering a power bank in smartphone
