The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) has released the SSC CGL 2026 notification and started the online application process for 12,256 vacancies across various central government departments and ministries.
Eligible candidates can apply for SSC CGL 2026 through the official website, ssc.gov.in, till June 22, 2026.
Along with the SSC CGL notification 2026, the commission has also announced the complete exam schedule, including application dates, correction window, Tier 1 exam dates, and Tier 2 examination timeline.
As per the official schedule, the last date for fee payment is June 23, while candidates will be able to make corrections in their application forms between June 29 and July 1, 2026.
The SSC CGL Tier 1 exam 2026 will be conducted between August and September, while the Tier 2 examination is scheduled for December 2026.
SSC CGL is one of the largest government recruitment examinations in India and is held every year for recruitment to Group B and Group C posts in ministries, departments, and government offices.

Candidates applying for SSC CGL 2026 can complete the registration process online by creating an account on the SSC portal, filling the application form, uploading required documents, and paying the application fee of Rs 100.
Only candidates qualifying in Tier 1 will be eligible to appear for the Tier 2 examination. SSC is expected to release admit cards and city intimation slips closer to the examination dates.
