Actor Sivakarthikeyan has alleged that he and his family have been targeted by a paid cyber attack. He made the revelation during the audio launch of his upcoming film Parasakthi , which is set to clash with Vijay's Jana Nayagan at the box office.
Sivakarthikeyan revealed that the online attacks this time have gone beyond him personally, extending to his family. "I am facing paid cyber attacks on social media. There is always some agenda or negative narrative, but this time it's more intense. They have targeted my family as well," he said. His mother, Raji Doss, listened through tears, while his wife, Aarthi, responded emotionally to his words.
Addressing the concern, Sivakarthikeyan reassured his mother, saying, "When she saw this, she asked who would support me. But now I can tell her that I have millions standing with me." Fans cheered loudly at the event, prompting a smile from his mother despite the emotional moment.
Vijay's fans at the event were vocal, repeatedly chanting "TVK" slogans, and the moments quickly went viral on social media. Sivakarthikeyan also mentioned that he had spoken with Vijay before the release of Parasakthi, ahead of the box office clash with Jana Nayagan.
Directed by Sudh Kongara, Parasakthi is scheduled for release on Saturday. Meanwhile, Jana Nayakan, directed by H. Vinoth, is expected to hit theatres the previous day, although delays in receiving censor board approval have left its release date uncertain.
