New Delhi: Indian Railways has revised the schedules of four Vande Bharat Express trains operated by the South Western Railway (SWR) zone, the Ministry of Railways announced.

The updated timings will take effect from March 15, 2026.

As of January 31, 164 Vande Bharat Express services are in operation across India. The recent timetable changes affect only four trains, while schedules for the remaining services remain unchanged. The impacted trains include:

  • 20704 Yesvantpur-Kacheguda Vande Bharat Express
  • 20703 Kacheguda-Yesvantpur Vande Bharat Express
  • 22231 Kalaburagi-SMVT Bengaluru Vande Bharat Express
  • 22232 SMVT Bengaluru-Kalaburagi Vande Bharat Express

Revised timings

  • 20703 Kacheguda-Yesvantpur Vande Bharat Express

Running daily except Fridays, the train will now arrive at Hindupur station at 3:55 pm, revised from the previous 3:48 pm. This service connects Hyderabad and Bengaluru.

  • 20704 Yesvantpur-Kacheguda Vande Bharat Express

Operating daily except Fridays, the arrival timing at Hindupur station has been updated to 12:17 pm. from the earlier 12:08 pm.

  • 22231 Kalaburagi-SMVT Bengaluru Vande Bharat Express

This train runs daily except Fridays. Revised timings at Karnataka stations include:

  • Sri Sathya Sai Prashanthi Nilayam: 11:13 am. (previously 11:00 am)
  • Yelahanka: 12:58 p.m. (previously 12:28 pm)
  • 22232 SMVT Bengaluru-Kalaburagi Vande Bharat Express

Operating daily except Thursdays, revised station timings are:

  • Yelahanka: 3:09 pm (previously 3:05 pm)
  • Sri Sathya Sai Prashanthi Nilayam: 4:45 pm (previously 4:23 pm)

Other updates

Earlier, the Ministry of Railways had also revised the schedule of the Coimbatore-Bengaluru Vande Bharat Express (train 20642). Departing from Coimbatore at 7:25 am and reaching Bengaluru Cantonment at 1:45 pm, the train's arrival at Hosur station will now be 12:13 pm from the previous 12:03 pm, effective March 15.

The latest schedule revisions aim to improve operational efficiency for commuters on the semi-high-speed Vande Bharat network, enhancing connectivity between major southern cities, including Bengaluru, Hyderabad, Coimbatore, and Kalaburagi.

Passengers are advised to check updated timings on official Indian Railways platforms before travel.
