Anupam Kher has been acting in films since the early '80s and after starring in Indian films for almost two decades, he turned to direction with the 2002 family drama Om Jai Jagadish starring Anil Kapoor, Fardeen Khan and Abhishek Bachchan in the titular roles.

When I approached him, he asked for the script. After reading it, he told me he wanted to be part of the film. That&apos;s how he got involved.&quot; </p><p>The release date of Tanvi The Great isn&apos;t out yet but the film is expected to be out in May. </p>
