July 3 is going to see a major shift in Bollywood with two female-led action films competing at the box office. Amongst them, Alpha is the latest addition into the YRF spyverse which would connect to films like War, Ek Tha Tiger and more.
Starring Alia Bhatt, Sharvari, Bobby Deol and Anil Kapoor, the movie's trailer has set a tone that isn't exactly favourable. However, each and every one involved in the main cast is reportedly taking home a good income with the film.

Directed by Shiv Rawail, we're getting a female-led spy thriller after a really long time in Bollywood. Moreover, this is a first for Yash Raj Films too. For Alia Bhatt though, this isn't her first time playing a female spy. She previously did it in Raazi, where her performance was highly regarded.
As such, for Alpha, the budget is comparatively lower than most spy films as of late. With a reported budget of ₹100 crore, according to Asianet News, the cast is not getting the short end of the stick with it.
Alia Bhatt is reportedly taking home ₹25 crore and Sharvari, who is said to be the co-lead of the film, is getting much less. As per the reports, she is getting only ₹3 crore. Bobby Deol is getting twice as much as her, that is, ₹6 crore for playing the villain of the film. Details about Sharvari's character have been kept highly under wraps except for the fact that she is also playing a spy.
Anil Kapoor is allegedly taking home ₹6 crores as well. In this, Hrithik Roshan also features in a cameo. He will reprise his role as Major Kabir from War. However, his fee is yet to be revealed. As per rumours, he has a major connection in the movie that doesn't just entail the spyverse or the significance of his appearance.
His involvement is rumoured to be important to the plot instead of just being a hyped-up cameo.
The movie is releasing alongside Huma Qureshi's Baby Do Die Do, which also features a Bollywood first with a female assassin who also happens to be deaf and dumb.
