As per Asianet News, Shahid Kapoor is taking home the biggest bag amongst the cast. He is reportedly getting paid ₹35 crore, with Rashmika Mandanna and Kriti Sanon being equally paid ₹15 crore each. The reported budget of the film is ₹80 crore.
Comparatively, Saif Ali Khan was paid ₹7 crore for Cocktail. Deepika Padukone was paid ₹4 crore, and Diana Penty got ₹50 lakh.
This is the second time Kriti and Shahid are working together after Teri Baaton Mein Aisa Uljha Jiya. What is interesting is that all three actors are equally important in the plot, playing each other's love interests in a complicated triangle.
Despite the trailer painting the idea that the movie will focus on Shahid's chemistry with the two actresses, fans were also noticing just how well Kriti and Rashmika's dynamics were playing out.
Directed by Homi Adajania, the film is also produced by Dinesh Vijan and Luv Ranjan. Both Rashmika and Kriti have previously worked with Maddock Films on projects like Bhediya and Chhaava.
