Drishyam 3 Announcement Video: Ajay Devgn Returns To Protect His Family One Last Time; Watch

After Drishyam in 2015 and Drishyam 2 in 2022, Ajay Devgn is now returning for the third and final instalment in the franchise, Drishyam 3 in 2026.

Interestingly, the Malayalam original went on floors a few months back and the shoot was wrapped recently, the Hindi remake began filming a couple of days back and now the makers have dropped a new video announcing the movie along with the release date.

Ajay Devgn's Drishyam 3 Announcement Video Out

The announcement video begins with flashes from the first two movies and has Ajay Devgn's voiceover where he talks about how different people see him differently. Some call him a criminal, a murderer and a fraud while others consider him to be a hero and an innocent father.

However, he will go to great lengths to ensure his family stays out of trouble. The video ends with the announcement that Drishyam 3 is the final movie in the franchise.

The movie is on floors with "extensive schedule across multiple cities and locations and is planned with an even bigger and intense canvas and scale," as per the official statement by the makers.

Besides Ajay Devgn, it'll also star the OG cast members Shriya Saran, Tabu and Rajat Kapoor and Akshaye Khanna is also expected to make a comeback to the franchise after his much-loved turn in Drishyam 2.

Will Ajay Devgn's Vijay Salgaonkar be able to protect his family from the system one last time? It will be interesting to revisit the twisted world of Drishyam and witness what new tricks Vijay Salgaonkar has up his sleeves to fool the cops and the system.

Drishyam 3 is directed by Abhishek Pathak and is written by Abhishek Pathak, Aamil Keeyan Khan, and Parveez Shaikh.

It will release in theatres on October 2, 2026.
