Kangana Ranaut has not been everyone's favourite for many of her remarks. However, her latest on Kriti Sanon has many calling out her hypocrisy.
The actress addressed the backlash that the Cocktail 2 star had been getting for her latest ad for GIVA that wasn't too traditional for many people's liking.
Initially, she had commented on how it was uncanny for someone to wear a bikini in front of their brother. Later, she switched her statement and shifted the concern to how the setting was lacking and not her outfit. To the fans, though, they found an old ad where she wore something just as controversial.
Kangana Ranaut's Not-So-Rakhi Outfit Surfaces Online

An old ad of Kangana Ranaut from 2017 has once again made its way online. It is also a rakhi ad where she is advocating for festive jewellery. A similar scenario as Kriti Sanon's GIVA ad. Except this time, Ranaut is being called out for her hypocrisy.
The Queen actress is wearing a strapless top with a georgette shoulder, her hair in an updo, highlighting her clavicle and neck. It works completely against her initial criticism of Sanon and her 'bikini' outfit, which she found highly inappropriate. The same perspective is now being countered by fans who believe that she used to be in the same boat that she is now openly countering.
Kangana had previously alluded to how unethical it was to wear a 'bikini' in front of one's brother and tie a rakhi on his wrist without taking Sanon's name. In a fresher statement, she concurred that her remark wasn't on her clothes but on the execution and setting of the ad.
According to her, she wasn't anyone to dictate who wore what and a woman can wear anything. Her complaint was with the lack of traditional rituals surrounding the brother and sister. No food, no parents, no halwa and a lot of other things that she found unruly later. To the fans, though, the damage was done and they were more than happy to call out her hypocrisy.
