Released in 2022, filmmaker Bilal Lashari's Pakistani film The Legend of Maula Jatt has finally secured an India release date.
Touted to be the most expensive Pakistani film of all time, The Legend of Maula Jatt starring Fawad Khan, Mahira Khan, Humaima Malick and Hamza Ali Abbasi collected a record breaking Rs 396 crore ($14 million) at the worldwide box office.
It is not only the biggest grosser in history of Pakistani cinema but also the highest grossing Punjabi language film of all time.

Now, two years later, The Legend of Maula Jatt is coming to the Indian screens on the Holiday period of Gandhi Jayanti.
Making the announcement, the official Instagram page of the film wrote, "Two years on, The Legend of Maula Jatt is still unstoppable! Witness the epic saga on the big screen in India from 2nd October 2024. Cinema listing to be shared soon."
