Riteish Deshmukh is on a career high with his new movie Raja Shivaji breaking records at the worldwide box office.
Directed by Riteish Deshmukh himself, the movie also stars Sanjay Dutt , Abhishek Bachchan , Vidya Balan, Bhagyashree, Genelia Deshmukh and Fardeen Khan in prominent roles.
It also features a cameo by Salman Khan.

Riteish Deshmukh's Raja Shivaji Scores Historic Opening Weekend In Marathi Cinema
Raja Shivaji became the biggest opener in Marathi cinema earning Rs 12.40 crore on day one followed by Rs 11.50 crore on day two and Rs 13.10 crore on day three.
The opening weekend total of Raja Shivaji now stands at Rs 37 crore including Marathi and Hindi version.
Sharing the same, trade analyst Taran Adarsh wrote, "#RajaShivaji posts an impressive total in its opening weekend... The #Marathi version is phenomenal, clearly dominating the overall business. This marks the BIGGEST WEEKEND TOTAL EVER for a #Marathi film.

At the worldwide box office, the movie has made over Rs 43 crore and is now the sixth biggest grosser in history of Marathi cinema beating Riteish's debut Marathi blockbuster Lai Bhaari.

Made on Rs 75 crore budget, Raja Shivaji is expected to become the second Marathi movie to hit Rs 100 crore at the box office and even has the potential to hit Rs 200 crore biz depending how well it performs in the second weekend.
