Ranveer Singh starrer Dhurandhar: The Revenge is a sequel to the 2025 all-time grosser Dhurandhar. Just like the prequel, Dhurandhar: The Revenge is also on course to become the biggest grosser of Hindi cinema.
The film features a number of characters inspired by real life people from Pakistan and India. And one of them is Rakesh Bedi's fan-favourite Jameel Jamali.
The character is reportedly based on a real-life Pakistani politician Nabil Gabol.
After Dhurandhar had released, Nabil had slammed the movie and especially the character inspired by him.
After Dhurandhar: The Revenge, he has once again hit back at the makers.

Pak Politician Nabil Gabol Plans His Own Dhurandhar 3
In an interview with a content creator, Nabil claimed that Jameel was based on him and that he was the MNA (Member of National Assembly) of Lyari during the time shown in the movie.
When the interviewer pointed out that Jameel Jamali was shown to be an Indian agent at the end of Dhurandhar: The Revenge and Nabil responded, "The truth is that they cannot fight Pakistan or the Pakistani Army, so they created a movie instead. Through this, they have made Lyari internationally famous. The people of Lyari do not care; they are very strong."
He added, "They used a comedian, Rakesh Bedi, to play my role and portrayed him as Nabil Gabol. Rakesh Bedi later claimed, 'No, I didn't just base it on Nabil Gabol; I made it a general depiction of all Pakistani politicians'. However, in 2007, the MNA of Lyari was Nabil Gabol."
Further addressing the trolling, Nabil said, "I see a lot of trolling on Indian social media asking why Nabil Gabol has gone silent. Well, today is the 26th, and I will give you a powerful response, just as the Pakistani Army responded to you. Just as six of your planes were shot down, I will also give you a proper answer regarding what Lyari actually is."
And went on to reveal his plans to make a Dhurandhar movie of his own, "I will make Dhurandhar 3 but won't call it that. I will call it Lyari Ka Gabbar."
Meanwhile, Dhurandhar: The Revenge has made over Rs 1000 crore at the worldwide box office in just nine days of the release. It is now heading towards Rs 1500 crore mark.
