Controversy had struck the cast of Ginny Wedss Sunny 2 after fans noticed that the senior actor, Sudhir Pandey, was allegedly being ignored during an event.
The video showed him walking off the stage, and everyone else ignoring him during the event. This had led fans to call the cast and crew out for being disrespectful.
They pointed out how bad the situation looked and how newer actors have no respect for those who came before them. Luckily, Sudhir Pandey is here to clear the air.

Sudhir Pandey was spotted leaving a promotional event of Ginny Wedss Sunny 2, and people began calling out the other actors for their disrespect. It was all just a misunderstanding that was taken out of context. Fans villainised the fresher faces when all he was doing was going from one event to a shoot.
He spoke with Hindustan Times about the matter, "There was nothing like being disrespected. I was launching the trailer with the team, I wanted to be there. I went to the stage with everyone, and was sitting in the front row before that. Whoever has shot this video may not have noticed that. When the announcement was made, I went up with everyone."

He continued, "The problem was I was in great urgency, because my shoot for another project is going on. So, I came to attend this trailer launch in the middle of the shoot. In fact, I had told the production house for Ginny… that I will come with a little urgency. The reason you see me walking off is going to the other shoot, I was getting messages."
He went to the event in the midst of another shoot and took permission because of how significant his role is in the Avinash Tiwary and Medha Shankr film. He also posted a video days prior, thanking people for all the love he has gotten since the trailer of the film was launched and he hopes to continue on the same path and produce more interesting films.
He also replied to the actor after Tiwary was called out on his comment section, clarifying that there was nothing wrong and he wasn't ignored by anyone.
