Ranveer Allahabadia is facing backlash for his offensive remarks on the latest episode of India's Got Latent. Despite his apology, social media is resurfacing old videos and clips of him making past controversial statements.
Tanmay vs Ranveer
An old clip has been going viral on social media where we see Tanmay Bhat grilling Ranveer Allahabadia on an Instagram live session.
On the live session, Tanmay asked Ranveer about his plans, to which he replied in his usual way, "I am detached from the outcome, like discontinuing content for a long…"

Tanmay interrupts Ranveer midway, and says, "Dude no one is more view obsessed than you, why do you talk like you don't care about the outcome?"
Ranveer then says, "I am result orientated, but is my soul also result orientated? That is the question."
Tanmay replies, "Yes, clearly!"
Ranveer adds, "Time to shave the head and the eyebrows."
Tanmay lands a solid punch by saying, "Yeah, I have been hearing that for eight years dude. Why do you keep doing this bullsh*t? Just accept that you are a capitalistic person who wants views. Spiritualism and all is bullsh*t. Every six months you are like (imitating Ranveer) guys I am launching a new business. At the same time there is a reel about spirituality. I am like ki tu kyon jhooth bol raha hai sabko?"
The reactions
People are trolling Ranveer but are also calling Tanmay a "similar case."
One user commented, "Quoting Tanmay of all the people. Wow, vulagrity and irony now both died."
Another user reacted, "Tammany is no less, he was doing the same type of abusive contents."
One user said, "Ranveer - It's time to shave head and eyebrows. Also Ranveer the next day - so hey this is my new venture. Sorry I am unavailable in India right now coz having the time of my life in Paris in a 5 star resort with my new girlfriend."
Ranveer's statement
On the show, Ranveer Allahabadia asked one of the contestants, "Would you rather watch your parents having sex for the rest of your life every day, or join in and stop it forever?"
Ranveer Allahabadia's statement sparked major controversy on social media and people demanded a permanent ban on India's Got Latent.
