Fresh updates from CinemaCon 2026 have given fans a clearer glimpse into the visual world of Ramayana: Part One.

After a series of Day 1 interactions and media sessions, images showcasing the film's costumes, particularly Yash's Ravana, surfaced online, generating buzz.

Photographs from the venue revealed detailed looks of the film's central characters, including Ranbir Kapoor as Lord Rama and Sai Pallavi as Sita. Ranbir's attire featured a blue dhoti paired with a maroon-and-gold shawl, along with a prominent gold crown and jewellery, closely resembling his appearance in the previously unveiled 'Rama' footage. In contrast, Sai Pallavi's Sita was styled in a more understated manner, dressed in a simple red saree with minimal jewellery.

Meanwhile, Yash's Ravana costume, only briefly teased earlier, was displayed on a mannequin, offering a closer inspection. The ensemble stood out with its bold black base accented by intricate gold detailing. Designed to resemble battle armour, the look included a heavily adorned crown, gold breastplate, shoulder guards, arm bands, cuffs, and an elaborately styled dhoti, presenting a striking and formidable interpretation of the character.

Yash has 'No' Scene with Ranbir Kapoor in Ramayana

In a recent interaction with Fandango, Yash opened up about Ramayana: Part One and his on-screen dynamic with Ranbir Kapoor. In a surprising revelation, Yash shared that the two do not appear together in the first instalment of the epic.

"Interestingly we both have never come together on screen in this film. As you all know, it's a two-part film, so in the first part, as Ravana, I have my own kingdom and Rama has his own kingdom," he explained.

Despite not sharing screen space, Yash spoke highly of Ranbir, praising his dedication and performance, while expressing excitement for their eventual face-off in the second part of the saga.

The first instalment of Ramayana will be released this Diwali; meanwhile, the next part will hit theatres on Diwali 2027.
